Beschrijving keerzijde	A stylized grapevine with a prominent central trunk rises from the base of the design, its spreading branches bearing five pendant clusters of grapes rendered in careful relief. The ethnic legend ΜΕΝΔΑΙΟΝ is disposed around the vine in the field, with individual letters occupying the spaces between the branches, reading as M-E-N-Δ-A-I-O-N. The composition is set within a recessed square incuse punch, a hallmark of early Classical Greek coinage technique. The vine motif directly references Mende's renowned viticulture and its religious devotion to Dionysos. The overall style reflects the confident, if slightly provincial, engraving tradition of the northern Aegean mints.
