The goddess wears a crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and a palmette at the base of the crest. The eye is depicted in the archaic frontal convention, a hallmark of this transitional period. The cheek guards of the helmet frame the face, and the hair is visible in tight beaded locks along the neck and forehead.
