Obverse description Facing head of Hermes rendered in fine archaic-to-classical style, depicted full-face with a slightly three-quarter turn to the left. The deity wears a broad-brimmed petasos adorned with a beaded border along its rim. Flowing, elaborately rendered curls frame the face on both sides, cascading onto the neck. The facial features are finely modelled with large almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips, reflecting the accomplished die-cutting tradition of Ainos. The field is plain, with no legend on the obverse.
