Obverse description Central field depicts the crowned Polish eagle displayed, with wings spread, set within a circular border. Above the eagle, the Roman numeral III denotes the coin's denomination. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking characteristic of hammered coinage. The overall style is consistent with late 16th-century Polish billon coinage produced at the Olkusz mint.
