| Popis líce | Irregular oval billon flan bearing a total of six official Ginza assay stamps applied by hammer in two vertical rows across the field. At the upper and lower tips of the piece, two additional circular stamps each enclosing the kanji character 保 (ho, denoting the Tenpō era guarantee) are impressed prominently, one at each extremity. The remaining four rectangular stamps, arranged in two flanking columns along the central axis, bear standard Ginza authentication legends in kanji. The surface retains the characteristic granular texture of cast and hammered chogin silver currency. |
