Obverse description Central crowned royal monogram 'S' (for Stephanus) enclosing the Batory family arms (three wolf teeth), all set within a double inner circle. The arms of Jan Dulski, Crown Treasurer, appear at the bottom of the coin, flanking the legend. The Latin legend, running along the outer border, identifies the issuer as King Stephen by the Grace of God, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Prussia.

Reverse description A crowned Piast dynastic eagle displayed with head turned sinister, bearing the Batory family arms (three wolf teeth) on its breast as an escutcheon. The Latin legend surrounding the design identifies the denomination as a Schilling of the Prussian Lands, followed by the last two digits of the year of issue. A triangular mintmark denoting the Malbork mint appears at the end of the legend, with decorative stops separating the legend elements.
