Reverse description A large kantharos (wine vessel) depicted in profile at center, with two elegant looped handles flanking the body and a bull's head protome issuing from the mouth of the vessel above. The amphora-style body is decorated with horizontal ribbing. To the lower left and lower right of the kantharos, the Boeotian dialect inscription reads ΒΑ to the left and ΣΤ to the right, identifying the issuing magistrate or mint authority. The composition is set within a plain circular border with no exergue.
