Reverse description A rotating four-armed tetraskeles (swastika-form) with curved arms issuing from a central boss, all contained within a square incuse depression bounded by a beaded (dotted) border. Lycian letters of the dynastic legend are distributed in the four quadrants of the border, reading Teθθiweibi, identifying the issuing dynast of Kandyba. The deeply sunk incuse square and crisp beaded frame are characteristic of Lycian hammered coinage of the fifth century BC.
