背面描述 A nude male figure, identified as the dynast or a warrior, rendered in dynamic striding pose facing right with knees bent in a running or dancing stance. He carries a bow in his extended left hand and reaches back with his right arm, the composition conveying energetic movement. The figure is set within a dotted border circle, and the Lycian dynastic inscription naming the issuer appears in the right field. The design is struck in relief on a flat, granulated background typical of Lycian silver coinage of this period.

附加信息

Kheriga was the most powerful of the Lycian dynasts of the late fifth century, operating in a complex political space between Athenian naval pressure and Achaemenid Persian overlordship. His coinage — struck in the local Lycian weight standard rather than the Attic — was a deliberate assertion of regional autonomy within a satrapal system that technically claimed authority over him. The series attributed to Müseler VI, 3 belongs to his earlier issues, before the political realignments that followed Athens' catastrophic defeat in Sicily in 413 BC shifted the entire Aegean balance.
