| Reverse description | An eagle stands to the left in profile within a deeply recessed incuse square, the border of which is defined by a prominent row of dots. A Lycian dynastic inscription appears to the left of the eagle, with a secondary symbol or monogram visible in the upper right quadrant of the incuse field. The eagle is rendered with fine feather detail on the wing and body, its head turned forward and talons firmly planted. The incuse technique is characteristic of Lycian silver staters of the dynastic period. |
