Reverse description Athena Nikephoros seated in three-quarter pose to left upon a throne, her left arm resting upon a large round shield set beside her, while a long transverse spear rises diagonally behind her into the upper field. In her extended right hand she holds a small figure of Nike. A Rhodian rose appears as a control symbol to the inner left field, and an ornate trident is depicted in the exergue as a secondary control mark. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ flanks the enthroned goddess in the fields, proclaiming this a royal issue in the name of Lysimachus.
