| 裏面の説明 | Amphora with two prominent loop handles stands centrally in the field, its body finely articulated with a decorative banded neck and a rounded foot resting on a small base. A six-petalled rosette or floral ornament crowns the mouth of the vessel. To the left and right of the amphora, the magistrate's name abbreviation is inscribed in archaic Greek characters: ΕΠ to the left and ΑΜΙ to the right, identifying the stater as issued under the strategos Epaminondas. The composition is well-centered within a plain circular border, characteristic of Boeotian federal coinage of the period. |
