| Beschrijving voorzijde | Boeotian shield depicted facing, rendered in high relief with characteristic curved cutouts on either side forming the distinctive lateral notches of this regional shield type. The convex boss of the shield dominates the central field, with the rim carefully delineated by an incuse border. The surface exhibits the typical irregular flan shape associated with hammered coinage of the Theban mint in the Classical period. |
