| 正面描述 | Facing Boeotian shield rendered in high relief, depicted with characteristic cut-out side notches at left and right, the central boss prominently convex. The shield's outline is boldly incised, and the overall design occupies the full flan in the archaic Greek tradition of Boeotian coinage. |

The magistrate name "Anti" — abbreviated on the coin — is generally read as Antimenidas or a similar Theban official active in the decade following the Corinthian War. These years were politically volatile for Boeotia: Spartan intervention culminated in 382 BC when a Spartan garrison seized the Kadmeia, the citadel of Thebes, effectively ending Boeotian League coinage until the city's liberation in 379 BC. This stater was almost certainly struck before that occupation, making the narrow eight-year window a hard terminus ante quem.
