| Beschrijving keerzijde | A triskeles motif centered within a pelleted square border, itself set within a shallow incuse square, a standard sunken die feature of archaic Lycian silver coinage. The three bent legs of the triskeles radiate from a central boss and are arranged in rotational symmetry. A partially blundered or uncertain Lycian legend is disposed around the central device within the bordered square, attributable to the dynast Zagaba of the Amartite region. The incuse technique reflects the characteristic anvil-die method employed in early Greek and Lycian minting practice. |
