Reverse description Plain, deeply recessed quadripartite incuse square occupying the majority of the reverse field, divided into four roughly equal triangular sections by two diagonal raised ridges meeting at a central point. The incuse impression is irregular in outline but clearly defined, with each quadrant displaying a slightly granular, textured surface resulting from the hammer blow of the punch during striking. This standard reverse type is characteristic of early Greek electrum coinage and served primarily as a technical feature to ensure even distribution of metal across the flan during the hammering process. No inscriptions or additional devices are present.
