The figure straddles the animal from above, grasping it forcefully with both arms, the bull shown in profile facing left with its head lowered. The composition is dynamically executed within the irregular flan, with fine musculature visible on the human figure. A small tunny fish, the civic badge of Kyzikos, appears below the principal design in the lower field. The entire scene is set against a plain, slightly granular field characteristic of Kyzikene electrum coinage. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse displays a quadripartite incuse square divided into four rectangular compartments, alternating between raised and sunken sections in a mill-sail or windmill pattern, typical of early Greek hammered coinage. The incuse design is deeply impressed into the flan, with a rough, granular texture within each quadrant. The overall execution is characteristic of the archaic punch technique employed at Kyzikos during the fifth and fourth centuries BC. The irregular flan edges are clearly visible around the incuse square. |
