Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square divided into four recessed compartments of alternating depth, two raised and two deeply sunken in a windmill or checker pattern, characteristic of the archaic incuse punch technique employed at Kyzikos. The surface of each compartment displays tool marks from the punch, creating a rough, granular texture. No legend or additional devices are present; the incuse serves purely as the reverse type, consistent with Kyzikene electrum stater production throughout the fifth century BC.
