| Reverse description | A deep quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse, divided by raised ridges into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size, a standard reverse type characteristic of early Kyzikene electrum staters produced by the hammered technique. The incuse is strongly impressed and well-defined, with slightly granular surfaces within each quarter. No inscription, symbol, or subsidiary device appears within the incuse square. The surrounding flan surface is irregular and shows the characteristic convex, bean-shaped profile of Kyzikene electrum coinage. |
