Beneath the eagle, a tunny fish swimming to right serves as the civic badge of Kyzikos, a motif characteristic of the city's electrum coinage. The entire design is enclosed within a raised border ring that delineates the coin's tondo, consistent with the artistic conventions of Mysian electrum staters of the fifth and fourth centuries BC. The field is smooth and the relief crisp, reflecting the high craftsmanship associated with the Kyzikene mint.

背面描述	Quadripartite incuse square occupying the full reverse field, divided into four recessed compartments by raised crossbars meeting at the centre, a hallmark punch characteristic of archaic Greek hammered coinage. The four quadrants display irregular granular texture resulting from the strike of the reverse die. The incuse impression is deeply and boldly struck, consistent with Kyzikene electrum staters of the classical period. No legend or inscription is present.
