Obverse description A bull stands in right profile with its head lowered in a grazing posture, rendered in fine archaic Greek style. Beneath the bull's body, a tunny fish is depicted in right profile, serving as the civic emblem of Kyzikos and a constant type on the city's electrum coinage. The figures occupy a smooth, unadorned field with no border or legend. The relief is bold and well-modelled, characteristic of the skilled die-cutters working for this prolific Propontic mint.

Reverse description A deep quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse, divided by raised ridges into four recessed rectangular compartments of roughly equal size, consistent with the mill-sail or windmill pattern typical of Kyzikene electrum staters of this period. The incuse is sharply struck and regular in form, with a pronounced three-dimensional depth. The surfaces of the compartments display the characteristic granular texture resulting from the hammered technique. No legend or additional device is present.
