Obverse description Female head facing left in archaic Greek style, rendered with fine detail including a prominent ear and softly delineated facial features. Immediately below the bust, a tunny fish (the civic emblem of Kyzikos) is depicted in left profile, serving as the characteristic control symbol of this mint. The design occupies a broad, slightly irregular oval flan with no surrounding legend or inscription. The relief is moderately high, executed in the confident linear manner characteristic of early fifth-century BCE Kyzikene coinage.
