| 裏面の説明 | A large tripod cauldron dominates the field, rendered in fine incuse relief with two prominent legs flanking a central support and a rounded bowl with voluted handles. To the right of the tripod, the retrograde ethnic inscription ϘPO (for Kroton) is arranged vertically in archaic Greek letters. To the left of the tripod, a small olive branch with a bud or leaf is visible in the field. A dotted border runs along the lower periphery of the flan. The design is characteristic of Krotoniate coinage, where the tripod — a symbol of Apollo — served as the primary civic emblem. |
