| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Menachem Begin in high relief occupies the central field, depicted wearing glasses and a suit. A circumferential Hebrew legend along the left arc reads 'Commander of the Irgun Zvai Leumi, Prime Minister of the Government of Israel', with the State of Israel emblem (menorah) in the upper right field. To the right of the bust, a multi-line Hebrew inscription reproduces Begin's personal quotation regarding the prevention of civil war, accompanied by his facsimile signature in Hebrew and Latin script; the Hebrew dates תרע"ג–תשנ"ב appear in the lower field. |
