| Obverse description | Facing bust of Constantine IV wearing a plumed helmet adorned with radiating feathers, depicted in a bold, schematic style characteristic of the Carthage mint. The emperor is shown in military attire with a cuirass and paludamentum, his broad, frontal face rendered with large stylized features. A short beard is visible, and the overall portraiture reflects the provincial workshop's distinctive artistic character. The legend DN CONSTANVS P runs partially around the periphery of the flan. |

| Reverse description | A large cross potent set on a stepped base of three or four gradines, occupying the central field, a common reverse type for late seventh-century Byzantine solidi. Flanking the cross are partial legends, with the mint signature CONOB appearing in the exergue, denoting gold of the highest purity struck at Constantinople or an authorized mint. The letter Θ and numeral I appear as officina or regnal year markers. The overall design is rendered in the somewhat rough, provincial style associated with the Carthage mint workshop. |
