Obverse description Facing busts of Constans II (left) and Constantine IV (right), both shown frontally in imperial loros and chlamys, each wearing a crown surmounted by a cross and adorned with pendilia. Constans II, the larger and more prominent figure to the left, is depicted with a long beard, holding a globus cruciger in his right hand; a cross potent on steps appears between the two imperial effigies in the upper field. Constantine IV is shown beardless to the right, also in imperial regalia. The partial Latin legend runs along the left border of the coin field.
