| Obverse description | The obverse features the shield-shaped emblem of the Slovenian Armed Forces General Staff in the central field, depicting a vertical sword overlaid on a laurel wreath with the initials 'S' and 'V' flanking it, the legend 'GENERALŠTAB' inscribed across the top of the shield, and a colored enamel element.
