The hair is depicted as a series of prominent dolphin-shaped curls arranged around the cranium, a distinctive artistic convention of the Trinovantian coinage tradition. The facial features include strongly modelled lips formed by plant-stalk motifs, with pellet and crescent ornaments filling the field around the bust.
