A smaller subsidiary horse appears above the main figure, and a further diminutive horse is placed below, all executed in the highly stylised, abstract artistic tradition of late Iron Age Celtic coinage. The figures are rendered in low hammered relief on an irregular flan with no inscriptions or legends present. |
