| Obverse description | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Justinian I facing right, rendered in the late antique imperial tradition. The effigy displays a prominent pearl diadem and finely incised drapery over the cuirass, with a paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The surrounding Latin legend runs clockwise along the outer border of the coin's field. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered Byzantine silver coinage of this period. |
