| 正面描述 | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Persian poetic legend in elegant nasta'liq calligraphy, struck in high relief across the full flan. The inscription reads that the sun and moon have become gold and silver in the world through the coinage of the Imam, the rightful master of time (Sahib al-Zaman), a traditional Shia invocation referencing the Hidden Imam. The mint name Rasht (ضرب رشت) and the AH date 1172 appear in the lower portion of the field. The coin is bordered by a plain rim with no decorative inner circle, and the hammered flan shows characteristic surface flow lines consistent with hand-struck Zand-period coinage. |
