| Descripción del reverso | A quartered Burgundian heraldic shield, bearing the arms of Burgundy-modern and Burgundy-ancient, is superimposed upon a floriated cross pattée whose four arms extend to the inner beaded circle, each arm terminating in a stylized pinecone finial. Small trefoil or floral ornaments occupy the angles between the cross arms. The shield is rendered with fine Gothic engraving, and the overall composition reflects the high craftsmanship of the Ghent atelier. The surrounding legend in uncial Gothic lettering is contained within a double beaded border. |
