Reverse description Central field features a rectangular cartouche with rounded beaded border containing a three-line nastaliq legend recording the mint name and AH date. The cartouche is surrounded by an annular zone filled with graceful floral scrollwork and foliate arabesques, itself enclosed within an outer beaded border. Small dotted rosette ornaments punctuate the decorative band at the cardinal points. The overall composition is characteristic of Qajar provincial mint production, with the mint name Mashhad Muqaddas and the AH date 1266 clearly rendered.
