| Beschrijving voorzijde | Standing figure of Saint Peter, nimbate, depicted frontally within an eleven-arc polylobe, holding the keys of heaven in his left hand and an open book in his right. Beneath his feet is an heraldic shield of Burgundy quarterly, with a lion at center and a single fleur-de-lis in the first and fourth quadrants. The circumferential legend in Gothic uncial lettering is divided by the figure and punctuated by double saltires. The overall composition reflects the refined Burgundian Gothic style of the early fifteenth century. |
