Reverse description The reverse presents a bust in high relief, shown facing or in three-quarter view, wearing what appears to be a stylized nimbus or crown, consistent with a representation of Saint Vitus, patron saint of the St. Veit an der Glan mint. Additional pellets or globular elements are scattered in the field. The design is characteristic of the incuse or mirror-image impression typical of thin hammered pfennig coinage of Carinthia, with the irregular flan boundary visible around the entire circumference.
