Obverse description A dog passant to the left rendered in high relief within a plain inner circle, the animal depicted with naturalistic hindquarters and forepaws raised in a striding posture. A stylised branch or twig motif appears above the dog in the upper field. The design is unlettered, consistent with the bracteate-influenced Friesach pfennig tradition of the late 13th and early 14th centuries. The irregular flan, typical of hammered medieval coinage, shows characteristic clipping at the edges.

Reverse description An eagle displayed within a square or rectangular frame, surrounded by a series of concentric ring or pellet decorations filling the field, all contained within a plain inner circle. The eagle motif, a heraldic emblem associated with imperial and episcopal authority, is rendered in a bold, schematic style characteristic of medieval Austrian pfennig coinage. The reverse design is anepigraphic, with no legend or inscription present. The flan is irregular and slightly buckled, consistent with hammered manufacture.
