| Obverse description | Central device depicting a stylized crowned bust facing forward, rendered in the crude hammered style characteristic of 14th-century Austrian Pfennige. The crown is represented by a row of pellets or globules above the head, and the shoulders are suggested by a broad horizontal element beneath. The figure is enclosed within a plain inner field with no surrounding legend, consistent with the bracteate-influenced regional coinage tradition. The flan is irregular and scalloped at the edges due to hand-cutting prior to striking. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays the incuse mirror impression of the obverse design, as is typical of thin hammered silver Pfennige of this period and region. A roughly rectangular shield-like outline is faintly discernible in the field, likely representing the heraldic arms of the Auffenstein lords. The surface is worn and shows characteristic flow lines from the hammering process, with the flan edges remaining irregular and uneven throughout. |
