The duchy changed hands repeatedly through the 13th century — passing through the Spanheim line before falling to the Habsburgs in 1335 — and local pfennig production reflects that administrative instability in the variety of die workmanship found across surviving specimens.
CNA Cj97 places this squarely within the Gutenwerth ecclesiastical mint sequence, associated with the Augustinian house on the island in the Wörthersee.
