Obverse description Facing bust of a veiled or helmeted figure rendered in a schematic, archaic style typical of medieval Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs, centrally positioned within an irregularly shaped flan. The face is depicted frontally with stylized dot eyes and a broad nose, framed by flowing drapery or hair falling to either side. The surrounding field is plain and unlettered, consistent with the anonymous bracteate tradition of the Styrian mint. The striking is characteristic of hand-hammered coinage, resulting in a slightly off-center impression on an uneven, clipped flan. No legend or inscription is present.
