| 裏面の説明 | Heraldic eagle displayed in low relief, its spread wings each decorated with two diagonal shield-like bands or bar charges, a distinctive heraldic motif associated with the arms of the Duchy of Austria. The eagle is rendered in the bold, simplified style typical of hammered Viennese Pfennige of the early 14th century. The type is uninscribed and the design fills the irregularly shaped flan within a raised border ring. |

Frederick III — styled "the Fair" — ruled jointly with his brother Leopold I following the contested succession after Henry of Bohemia's death, and spent much of his reign locked in a brutal civil war with Louis IV of Bavaria over the Holy Roman imperial throne. His capture at the Battle of Mühldorf in 1322 effectively ended his imperial ambitions, and the thin wiener pfennig coinage of this period reflects a treasury under persistent strain. The type continued striking in his name through 1330 despite his political marginalization after Mühldorf.
