Obverse description Bust of a helmeted duke facing right, depicted in profile within the coin's irregular flan. The figure wears a crested helmet adorned with decorative elements atop the head, rendered in the bold, high-relief style characteristic of Austrian medieval hammered bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The facial features are summarily modelled, with a prominent nose and firm jawline visible in profile. No surrounding legend is present, the design filling the available field to the flan's edge.
