Obverse description Frontal angelic bust depicted within a rounded arch or nimbus formed by stylized wing feathers, the figure shown with a schematic face and body in a hieratic, Romanesque-influenced style characteristic of mid-14th century Austrian bracteate-related coinage. The effigy is rendered in low relief, with the wings flanking the figure symmetrically and a small shield or heart-shaped element at the center of the chest. The overall composition is contained within the irregular flan, with no surrounding legend.
