| 裏面の説明 | A voided cross pommée set within a quatrefoil, with fleurs-de-lis in each of the four angles formed between the arms of the cross and the quatrefoil frame. The moneyer's name and mint name are arranged in the legend around the periphery of the flan, separated by pellets or annulets. The design is characteristic of the 'Awbridge' type, representing one of the final issues of Stephen's reign, struck with the angular, hand-cut dies typical of mid-twelfth century English hammered silver coinage. |
