| Obverse description | Central field bearing a Pahlavi inscription in raised relief, the cursive characters arranged around a central pellet or boss. The script is rendered in the typical late Sasanian epigraphic style, with flowing ligatures characteristic of early fifth-century royal mint production. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with a granular lead surface showing natural oxidation. No figural imagery is present; the design is entirely epigraphic in composition. |
