| Obverse description | Draped bust of Wahram V facing right, depicted in the characteristic Sasanian royal style with elaborate headdress. A crescent motif appears above the bust. A monogram or heraldic device is placed in the field before the face, tentatively identified as a goat or ram symbol. The design is rendered in low relief consistent with the hammered lead fabric of this minor denomination. The overall composition is contained within a plain circular border. |
