| Beschrijving keerzijde | A Zoroastrian fire altar depicted in frontal elevation, flanked on each side by a standing attendant, consistent with the canonical reverse type of Sasanian coinage. The altar is rendered schematically with a stepped base and a flame finial visible at the summit. The two attendants, standing in profile facing the altar, are depicted in low relief with minimal detail, as is characteristic of the debased lead pashiz series. The composition is contained within a plain or lightly beaded border on the irregular flan. |
