Obverse description Crowned bust of King Charles Robert (Károly Róbert) facing left, wearing a crown with fleur-de-lis points, depicted in a stylized, abbreviated manner typical of Angevin-period Hungarian hammered coinage. The king's draped shoulders are visible in the lower field. To the right of the bust stands a small patriarchal (double-barred) cross on a stepped or dotted base, serving as a mint or workshop symbol. The surrounding legend is largely off-flan or worn, consistent with the irregular flan characteristic of this denomination. The overall design reflects the crude but expressive artistry of early 14th-century Hungarian parvus coinage.
