| Obverse description | Facing left, the helmeted head of Athena rendered in archaic style, the Attic helmet covering the skull with cheek guards clearly delineated. The portrait occupies the full flan on a plain, unadorned field, characteristic of early Lycian dynastic coinage. The die work is bold yet somewhat crude, reflecting provincial engraving traditions of the late fifth century BC. |

| Additional information |
Kadyanda was a Lycian hill city whose dynasts issued coins during the period when Lycia operated as a loose confederation of semi-autonomous rulers under loose Achaemenid Persian suzerainty. The dynast name Hntruma is attested only through numismatic evidence — no inscription or literary source confirms the name independently, making coins of this type the sole historical record of his existence.
