Obverse description Facing crowned royal effigy of King Charles Robert (Károly Róbert) depicted in a schematic, archaic style typical of early 14th-century Hungarian hammered coinage. The king's crowned head is rendered frontally with stylized facial features and a broad crown visible above. Below the bust, the king's arms are depicted outstretched in a heraldic pose. The encircling legend REX · KAROLVS runs along the periphery of the coin, partially visible on the irregular flan.

Reverse description A large stylized fleur-de-lis (lily) occupies the entire reverse field, rendered in bold relief with three prominent petals and flanking foliate projections characteristic of Angevin dynastic symbolism. The central stem rises vertically with side petals curving outward in a symmetrical composition. The design fills the irregular flan to its edges, leaving no legend or exergual inscription. The lily is a direct reference to the Angevin dynasty of Charles Robert, connecting Hungarian royal imagery to its French and Neapolitan dynastic heritage.
