| Obverse description | Frontal enthroned figure of King Charles Robert (Charles I of Hungary) of the Angevin dynasty, shown seated in full regalia wearing a crown; the king holds a sceptre or orb in the right hand and what appears to be a fleur-de-lis or globus cruciger in the left hand. The figure is rendered in a stylised, flat medieval manner characteristic of early fourteenth-century Hungarian hammered coinage. The compact, irregular flan leaves no space for a surrounding legend. The field exhibits the typical granular surface of a lightly struck hammered silver piece. |

| Reverse description | A patriarchal (double-barred) cross dominates the centre of the reverse, rising from a stylised base or shield-like device. To either side of the cross shaft flanking decorative elements, possibly lily or fleur-de-lis motifs referencing the Angevin arms, are visible in the field. The upper portion of the flan is bordered by a beaded inner circle. The design is crudely but boldly executed in the hammered tradition, with shallow relief consistent with the coin's diminutive weight and small module. No legend is present. |
